Insolvency and Restructuring LAW
Training goal
The training focus "Insolvency and Restructuring Law" was founded on 01.10.2016 by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bettina Nunner-Krautgasser and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schummer and was offered for the first time in the academic year 2016/17. This training focus gives students the opportunity to deal with interdisciplinary issues of insolvency law with special consideration of the remediation aspect. The students are taught essential theoretical knowledge as well as practical information.
Training plan
In order to be able to complete the training focus "Insolvency and Restructuring Law", the subject "Civil Proceedings" (7.5 ECTS), consisting of the examination "Civil Proceedings" and the subject "Business Law", consisting of the examination "Corporate Law" (7.5 ECTS) is required.
For the positive completion of the training focus, courses amounting at least 25 ECTS have to be proven. These courses can optionally be adduced from the corresponding course catalog (UniGrazOnline).

Registration
Students that are intended to complete the training focus “Insolvency and Restructuring Law” are invited to express their interest in the Department of Education. Please use the corresponding forms from the homepage of the department for studies and teaching. This gives the leaders of the main emphasis the opportunity to involve the students through targeted information and invitations to special events in the focus. !IMPORTANT!
Certificate
Students (of the 14W curriculum version – in force since 01.10.2014) who have successfully completed the training program will receive a certificate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Graz. A corresponding application must be submitted to the Department of Studies and Teaching.
